(19 May 2023 SCMP) A new report by the UN Environment Programme titled “Turning off the tap: how the world can end plastic pollution and create a circular economy” underscores the importance of tackling such pollution at source.

The Environmental Protection Department (EPD) announced on February 14 that it would invite interested parties to submit tenders for the processing and recycling of drinks cartons collected from government-funded green community facilities from July 1.
